In a unexpected collaboration that defies traditional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Disclosed
According to the formal statement, "A mysterious encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of prohibited practices and monstrous changes echo through the darkness." The plot introduces a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret cult.
The mission concentrates on "bizarre tests and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses
The teaser showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a striking moment showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the adventure will obtain an special katana together with multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
